About the role
Lead the design, development, and delivery of portable C and C++ cryptographic libraries for secure credential storage, TLS, certificate services, and key management. Guide architecture and technical plans, integrate cryptographic providers, uphold security and FIPS requirements, and partner with product and security teams on integration, troubleshooting, and backward-compatible upgrades. Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership in C/C++ systems software and security-critical cryptographic libraries, with deep expertise in modern C/C++, secure communications, and cross-platform development. Candidates should have experience maintaining stable APIs and ABIs and leading cross-functional technical initiatives; OpenSSL, BSAFE, FIPS 140-3, KMIP, build systems, and security testing are desirable.
